World Blood Donor Day

Every June 14th and July, the World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) and National World Blood Donor Day (NBDD) are celebrated respectively to recognize the selfless contribution of all voluntary and unpaid blood donors in saving lives. These celebrations encourage commitment to regularly donate and increase awareness on the need for available and appropriate use of blood and blood products.
DOST Caraga in cooperation with the Caraga Health Research and Development Consortium spearheaded by the Department of Health strongly supports this act of solidarity and encourages eligible donors to take part in the 10th National Blood Summit and help save lives.
