How to Join ?

Institutions who wish to become a part of the CHRDC can send a Letter of Intent addressed to CHRDC Chairperson. Letter can be sent via caragahealth@gmail.com  or thru DOST Caraga Regional Office.

CHRDC members are institutions such as education – related, universities, and health – related like hospitals. Currently active members are the following:

Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology

A state-funded higher education institution in Agusan del Sur with a continuous pursuit of being a premier agro-industrial Higher Education Institution in Caraga Region capable of producing morally upright, competent and globally competitive human resource for effective implementation of sustainable development goals.

Butuan Medical Center

With the support of the Local Government Unit of Butuan, the Butuan Medical Center provides state of the art healthcare for Caraganons especially to Butuanons. BMC houses the only molecular laboratory in Caraga wherein the reverse transcription – polymerase chain reaction (rt – PCR) samples are being processed to ensure fast and efficient analysis of COVID-19 cases in the region.

Butuan Doctor’s College

Butuan Doctors College, an institution right in the heart of Butuan City, aspires to develop purpose-driven professionals anchored on ethical values that strengthen capabilities to achieve excellence.

Caraga State University

Being one of the most pro-active SUCs in Mindanao, CSU endeavors to contribute to the achievement of the regional and national development goals and shall strive to achieve a maximum level of performance in terms of “relevance and responsiveness, excellence and quality, equity and access, efficiency and effectiveness, discipline, teamwork, impact and learning to learn” in the four major areas of concern: Instruction, Research, Extension and Production.

Commission on Higher Education Caraga

The Commission on Higher Education in Caraga promote relevant and quality higher education in the region (i.e. higher education institutions and programs are at par with international standards and graduates and professionals are highly competent and recognized in the international arena).

PhilHealth Caraga Regional Office

Philhealth is a tax-exempt Government Corporation attached to the Department of Health for policy coordinating and guidance. The goal of the corporation is to administer the National health Insurance Program; formulate and promulgate policies for the sound administration of the program; supervise the provision of health benefits and to set standards, rules, and necessary to ensure quality of care, appropriate utilization of services, fund viability, member satisfaction, and overall accomplishment of program objectives; and among others.

National Economic and Development Authority Caraga

The National Economic and Development Authority is the country’s premier socioeconomic planning body, highly regarded as the authority in macroeconomic forecasting and policy analysis and research. It provides high-level advice to policymakers in Congress and the Executive Branch. Its key responsibilities include: Coordination of activities such as the formulation of policies, plans, and programs to efficiently set the broad parameters for national and sub-national (area-wide, regional, and local development); Review, evaluation, and monitoring of infrastructure projects identified under the Comprehensive and Integrated Infrastructure Program consistent with the government’s thrust of increasing investment spending for the growing demand on quality infrastructure facilities; and Undertaking of short-term policy reviews to provide critical analyses of development issues and policy alternatives to decision-makers.

Manuel J. Santos Hospital

MJ Santos is one of the top hospitals in Caraga located in the heart of Butuan City. MJ Santos Hospital continues to expand and upgrade its service capabilities, serving not just Butuan but the whole of Agusan provinces, thereby establishing itself as the premier hospital of northeastern Mindanao.

Father Saturnino Urios University

Father Saturnino Urios University, a lay-empowered, Filipino, Catholic, Diocesan, Educational Institution, envisions a community of men and women committed to pursue the work of Christ for the wholeness of society. FSUU commits itself to: provide balanced program of spiritual formation, educational development, research undertakings, and community involvement for all; form self-determined Filipinos who uphold the integrity of creation, are crusaders of truth and justice, proud of their identity and heritage and in a dialogue with different cultures; empower all as catalysts for social transformation and development.

Bombo Radyo Butuan

DXBR or widely known as Bombo Radyo Butuan is an AM radio station of the People’s Broadcasting Service, Inc. under Bombo Radyo Philippines in Butuan City. The station’s studio and transmitter are located at Bombo Radyo Broadcast Center, Km. 3 Arujville Subdivision, Libertad, Butuan City, Philippines.

Department of Science Technology Caraga

DOST Caraga is mandated by law to identify S&T needs opportunities in the region, formulate a regional S&T Plan; implementing programs and projects on R&D and the delivery of S&T services; monitor and coordinate programs and projects of DOST Councils, Institutes and Support Agencies in the region; develop linkages; and provide grants-in-aid.

Department of Health Caraga

The Department of Health (DOH) is the principal health agency in the Philippines. It is responsible for ensuring access to basic public health services to all Filipinos through the provision of quality health care and regulation of providers of health goods and services. DOH envisions Filipinos to be among the healthiest people in Southeast Asia by 2022, and Asia by 2040.

Department of Education Caraga

The Department of Education (DepEd) formulates, implements, and coordinates policies, plans, programs and projects in the areas of formal and non-formal basic education. It supervises all elementary and secondary education institutions, including alternative learning systems, both public and private; and provides for the establishment and maintenance of a complete, adequate, and integrated system of basic education relevant to the goals of national development.

St. Paul University Surigao

SPU Surigao is a Paulinian community of learners and believers impelled by the charism and spirituality of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres form Christ-centered, integrated, competent and responsible persons in the service of the Church and society. Guided by its vision, in union with Mary, and St. Paul, the institution endeavors to become a preferred educational community, proclaim Jesus Christ, the good news, and uplift the quality of life, in a culture of excellence, compassionate caring and collaboration.

Surigao del Sur State University

The university primarily provides advanced education, higher technological, professional instruction and training in trade, fishery, agriculture, science, education, commerce, engineering, forestry, nautical courses and other related fields. It shall also undertake research and extension services and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization (RA 9998, Section 2).

Surigao State College of Technology

The Surigao State College of Technology is a public college in the Philippines. It is mandated to provide higher vocational, professional and technological instruction and training in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, engineering and sciences, as well as short-term technical courses. It is also mandated to provide primary consideration to the integration of research/studies for the development of the Province of Surigao del Norte. Its main campus is located in Surigao City.

Philippine Normal University Mindanao

PNU, aims to become an internationally recognized and nationally responsive teacher education university. As the established producer of knowledge workers in the field of education, it shall be the primary source of high-quality teachers and education managers that can directly inspire and shape the quality of Filipino students and graduates in the country and in the world.

Adela Serra Ty Memorial Medical Center

Adela Serra Ty Memorial Medical Center is one of the leading agency in health service delivery that is competitive, responsive, and equitable for better health outcome and well-being of Caraganons. ASTMMC is also committed towards timely, equitable and sustainable quality health services with focus among vulnerable groups in an enabling environment in partnership with various stakeholders.

Caraga Regional Hospital

Caraga Regional Hospital is a premier tertiary hospital in Caraga Region trusted by the community to provide expert care in Oncology, Women’s Health, and Diabetes by 2028. To provide quality healthcare services and advanced teaching and training with modern facilities and equipment. Caraga Regional Hospital commits to deliver effective and efficient healthcare services to all stakeholders by satisfying customer and other applicable requirements through continual improvement of the management system.

Surigao Education Center

Surigao Education Center envisions to be a dynamic educational institution producing globally competitive professionals through excellent quality education. SEC’s goal strengthen the school’s internal controls, operational infrastructure and accountability; achieve a status of Professional Institute; sustainably strengthen the school’s medium and long-term financial position to obtain and maintain fiscal stability; establish a significant research culture and publication; serve Caraga Region by promoting a culture of community service and engagement.

Saint Joseph Institute of Technology

Agusan del Norte Provincial Hospital

Agusan del Norte Provincial Hospital is located in Butuan which is situated at center of the province. The hospital cater to the medical and needs of the people of the Province of Agusan del Norte including the high urbanized city of Butuan and nearby provinces in Caraga Regions.

Butuan City Health Office

Under the supervision of the Butuan Local Government Executives, the Butuan City Health Office aims to provide solutions to pressing health concerns among people living in Butuan.
