#forahealthyCaraga: CHRDC Call for Research Proposals on COVID-19

With the country’s urgent need for R&D initiative to mitigate COVID-19 as well as for future outbreak preparedness, the Caraga Health Research and Development Consortium (CHRDC) under the umbrella of the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD), is now calling for interested researchers of its member-institutions to submit health research proposals for the said pandemic, to be funded under the 2020 Regional Research Fund (RRF) Grants.

Here is the list of member-institutions who are encouraged to submit:

  • Butuan Medical Center
  • Butuan Doctors College
  • Caraga State University
  • Commission on Higher Education Caraga
  • Department of Health Center for Health Development – Caraga
  • Department of Science and Technology Caraga
  • DXBR Bombo Radio Butuan
  • Father Saturnino Urios University
  • Manuel J. Santos Hospital
  • National Economic and Development Authority
  • PhilHealth Regional Office Caraga – Butuan City
  • Philippine Council for Health Research and Development
  • Surigao Education Center
  • Saint Joseph Institute of Technology
  • Saint Paul University Surigao
  • Surigao del Sur State University
  • Surigao State College of Technology
  • Caraga Regional Hospital

In addition, proponents are required to submit the following documents to the CHRDC Secretariat through email at caragahealth@gmail.com:

  • Duly accomplished capsule application form (https://caragahealthresearch.net/download/)
  • Curriculum Vitae of Key Investigators
  • Letter of Intent addressed to the Consortium Director, Dominga D. Mallonga of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Caraga

Regional Research Fund (RRF) is a grant to support capability-building for the researchers to be more actively involved in health research.
