CHRDC holds Mentoring Activity for Health Research Proposals

With the goal of improving the submitted research proposals of the researchers in Caraga region and to better understand the responsible conduct of health research, the Caraga Health Research and Development Consortium (CHRDC) conducted another mentoring session yesterday, at the DOST-Caraga Function Hall, Ampayon, Butuan City.

PCHRD consultant Dr. Jenniffer Nailes reviewed and evaluated the two full-blown research proposals of Father Saturnino Urios University and St. Paul University Surigao with their study on “Energy Drink Consumption and Acute Renal Failure among Young Adults in Butuan City” and “Factors Influencing Teenage Pregnancy Admitted in Government Health Facilities in Surigao City”, consecutively.

Meanwhile, the researchers were reminded by Ms. Anicia Catameo, regional project officer of the consortium to submit the revised proposals incorporated with the comments of Dr. Nailes on or before October 16 so it will be endorsed to PCHRD for possible funding this year.
