Call for 2022 DOST-PCHRD Proposals


The DOST- Philippine Council on Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) is pleased to announce the call for 2024 health R&D proposals. The proposals should be aligned with the research priority areas of Harmonized National R&D Agenda (HNRDA) which hinges on DOST’s S&T thrusts, emerging and re-emerging health concerns, and health researches that will better equip the country in the next pandemic, and beyond.

The call encourages public and private higher education institutes, research and development institutes and non-profit organizations to conduct and forge collaboration by and among organizations involved in health R&D.

  1. Biomedical Devices Engineering for Health
  2. OMIC Technologies for Health
  3. Diagnostics
  4. Nutrition and Food Safety
  5. Digital and Frontier Technologies for Health
  6. Functional Foods
  7. Re-emerging and Emerging Diseases 
  8. Mental Health
  9. Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation in Health
  10.  Tuklas Lunas (Drug Discovery and Development)

In formulating the proposals, please follow the guidelines indicated in bit.ly/PCHRDCallforProposals2022Guidelines.

Deadline of Submission:

Interested researchers must submit their proposals via the DOST Project Management Information System (DPMIS) website (https://dpmis.dost.gov.ph), not later than March 31, 2022. Proposals submitted in any other manner shall not be accepted.
